I viewed the video and it looks interesting. I'm going to try it. Wire feed welders are always DC or direct current and this may be a critical factor for this to work. Don't know. Check your stick welder to see if its DC. Some are but most are AC.

I suggest you not buy a name brand and instead buy a computer that is put together by someone who has a shop and makes computers for people that have everything on them that the customer needs and wants without any unnecessary garbage in it. You will need a computer for Auto-Cad or 3-D BDP that has at least 3gb hard disk space (750mb free hard disk space for installation plus 2gb additional free hard disk space) and 2gb of ram (random access memory). This is the minimum and were you to get a computer with more hard disk space and more ram, the advanced Auto-Cad systems will work better and you will be able to put additional programs on it which will be beneficial for almost anything you may want a computer to do for you. A computer is a tool and when one thinks of all the information that goes into a computer to make it run smoothly, it is wise not to buy one with a bunch of junk on it that may cause problems with other programs you may install. Some people will opt to buy cheap only to learn that the computer they bought can't handle all the programs on it and the computer will work too slow. You will want your computer to work fast, so make sure it has everything inside to help make it work fast and that includes the latest processor and Windows 7. You will also have the benefit of being able to store more information and the updates for your Auto-Cad program. If you haven't worked with Auto-Cad before, I think you will find it to be a very good and versatile tool and fun to use. I liked it when I was working and making architectural drawings. I am retired now and I don't have Auto-Cad on my home computer.
